Garrison Law takes on Macomb County for its inhumane treatment of inmates with mental health needs. The lawsuit alleges a pattern of failing to take adequate measures to prevent inmates from committing suicide, where more than 17 suicides could have been prevented. The case is among several that have targeted jail operations.
